Description
Overview
3 day Big Five safari Uganda will take you to one of Uganda’s largest wildlife reserves, which was gazetted in 1926 and became a national park in 1962. The Murchison Falls are located in the northwestern region of the country and cover an area of 3,840 square kilometers. The park borders the important Ugandan towns of Masindi, Pakwach, Karuma, and Biso, among others.
Murchison Falls National Park will provide you with an exciting exposure to a magnificent wooden savannah with Budongo woodland, which is home to chimps that are tracked, and open savannah grasslands, which are home to a diverse range of species that may be seen on game drives. The Nile River flows through the park and into the Mediterranean Sea, and there are spectacular waterfalls that are a must-see for anybody visiting this magnificent park.
Our first stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the Kampala-Gulu highway will kick off our big five safari with rhino tracking. This normally takes approximately 2 hours, with more animals sighted such as bush bucks, warthogs, and the occasional leopard.
We will have lunch at Kabalega Dinners, surrounded by whistling accasias. Proceed through Masindi village to the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park. On the second and final day before departing for Kampala / Entebbe International Airport, game drives will be done in quest of the remaining three or four big five.
